2) Ingram Book Group: A leading wholesale distributor of trade books, serving booksellers, librarians, and specialty retailers in the retail marketplace throughout the world. Barnes & Noble, Hastings, and Costco are a few major chain stores of whom Ingram serves. Your book title, its descriptive and physical attributes, the BISAC subject categories of your book are provided to our Ingram Book Buyer for their database from which their 10,000+ retailers order. Ingram will especially stock your book when they know what is happening to sell the book like author appearances, signings, conferences, seminars, workshops; newspaper/magazine articles or book reviews; promotional mailings, etc.; radio/TV interviews. The key to letting Ingram know of this promotional information is through Pine Orchard; thus, it is important to keep Pine Orchard updated with book & author events. A three- to six-week lead time is desirable to get your book best positioned with Ingram’s.

3) Baker & Taylor: A leading wholesaler to both domestic and international markets. Baker & Taylor services the public libraries and educational institutions, as well as retailers and the e-commerce market. Your book title and its descriptions are sent to our assigned B&T Book Buyer to place into their database. Initially, B&T watches the title closely and purchases your book for special orders only. When consistent demand develops, your book may be purchased for stock in their warehouse.
