The poems, in this beautifully hardbound book, start with the viewpoint of a six-year-old child, then progresses, poem by poem, as the viewpoint grows into a teenage one. The author’s rhyme swings with bedtime and teddy bears, summer and robins’ nests, vacation and rain, pets and tigers, sunsets and goodbyes, ending with a tale of a teenager’s first love.
Jack Zager is a husband, father, and grandfather. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where, when he is not writing children’s poetry, he is Senior Vice President with a major Wall Street investment firm.
